Ankauf eines Zuchtbullen und 2 Färsen von HW Netherton Angus Schottland.

Ende letzten Jahres kam mir der Gedanke meine Angus-Zucht zu vergrößern und somit machte ich mich auf die Suche nach neuen Tieren. Da ich sehr zufrieden mit den Tieren von "John Elliot" (Rawburn) war, wollte ich ursprünglich meine Tiere auch bei ihm kaufen. Aufgrund des eingetretenen Brexits gab es nun neue Ausfuhrbestimmungen, welche den Ankauf bei John erschwerten. Vieles war noch im Unklaren. Somit habe mich leider anderweitig umschauen müssen und bin schlussendlich bei "William Mclaren" (HW Netherton Angus) fündig geworden. 

Dort kaufte ich im März 2022 den Zuchtbullen " HW Dastardly X273 ", sowie die 2 Färsen " HW Lady Heather X446 " und " HW Fleur X444  ". Voller Vorfreude erwartete ich die Lieferung der Tiere am 16. Mai 2022. Dieser Transport war der erste Transport von Aberdeen - Angus aus Schottland in die EU nach dem Austritt der Briten aus der EU. 

Der LKW erreichte den Merteshof mit ein wenig Verspätung am Montag, den 16. Mai 2022 um 23h30. Die Tiere waren wohlauf und haben sich mittlerweile gut eingelebt.

At the end of last year I had the idea of expanding my Angus cattery and so I started looking for new animals. As I was very satisfied with the animals from "John Elliot" (Rawburn), I originally wanted to buy my animals from him as well. Due to the Brexit, there were new export regulations which made it difficult to buy from John. Many things were still unclear. Unfortunately, I had to look elsewhere and finally found what I was looking for at "William Mclaren" (HW Netherton Angus). 

There I bought the breeding bull " HW Dastardly X273 " in March 2022, as well as the 2 heifers " HW Lady Heather X446 " and " HW Fleur X444 ". Full of anticipation I awaited the delivery of the animals on 16 May 2022. This transport was the first transport of Aberdeen - Angus from Scotland to the EU after the British left the EU. 

The truck arrived at Merteshof with a little delay on Monday 16 May 2022 at 23h30. The animals were well and have settled in well in the meantime.
